I am at the moment on tour though Switzerland and Germany shooting Rob G (american pro blader) for Rollerblade, I will be heading back to Paris on Friday to shoot a weding on saturday and I will be flying to Venise (Italy) on sunday for a Rollerblade meeting, I will be back on the 9th of june to catch up on the post production before going on a tour through Spain and portugal for 2 weeks. Will keep you up to date with the new material. Greg M

FOOD

Here I am, announcing the start of my new project:

FOOD is more than a brand, it's a lifestyle, a concept that was created to promote aggressive skating in an art-oriented and selective way, and also to showcase talented skaters.

The brand will be represented by a team composed of Clement Boucau, Pierre Akrich and Nicolas Auroux. Other guests will appear regularly in support of the brand.

The conception of the first project is currently in the works, and I will be announcing new projects periodically.
The upcoming videos will give you an idea of the true meaning of the name FOOD

Voici "FOOD©". Au-delà d'une simple marque, Food est avant tout un univers. Son concept consiste à promouvoir le street skating de manière esthétique et sélective, mais surtout à mettre en avant certains skaters méritants.
Plusieurs supports seront utilisés, dont bien évidemment la photo et la vidéo. La marque sera représentée par un team composé de Clément Boucau, Pierre Akrich et de Nicolas Auroux.

Aussi, certains "Guests" feront leur apparition occasionnellement.

Un produit et en cours de conception, j'aurai le plaisir de vous l'annoncer peu de temps avant sa sortie. En attendant, vous serez amenés à découvrir quelques images représentatives de l'esprit du projet.

Rollerblade AD

This is where it gets tricky: (directing and acting). I had to act in these videos as I shoot but also skate for Rollerblade representing the Urban segment, these two ads were shot on the 27th and 28th of march in Paris.

Shots in Barcelona

I've been staying in BCN for almost 3 weeks now and the trip is nearly finished, I still have a bit of footage to do for editorial and personal projects, Urban videos to make with Ben Brillante this week end for Rollerblade and I will be done.

I'll be going back to Paris on the 3rd of may, the time for me to sort a lot of stuff out.

I will be heading to Switzerland on the 8th for some more Rollerblade footage (popping in Lausanne, Winterthur, Zug and Zurich) and coming back to Paris on the 11th so I can pack my stuff to go straight to the 'FISE' (international extreme sports event) which will be on until the 17th of may in south of France.

working abroad

I'm now in Barcelona until the 3rd of May, at first booked a flight there to see how i'd get along with the people, the language and the city to find out if it would be a right place for me to move to, but by organizing this trip I got more and more assignments and I also still have some post production work form my last shoots in Paris.

On top of that, i'm working on a new project which is the build of a new company, I can't talk about it too much yet as I am waiting to get things sorted.

I should post a few pics online really, so I'm gonna work this out tomorrow :)

I've done this catalogue shoot for a new clothes designer a couple of weeks ago, the catalogue will be coming out soon as well as the website, I will keep you in the loop of this as I got a second session tomorrow.

been away for too long

Ok, I have been pretty busy recently with work and I didn't even take the time to update the blog so I must apologize for those who actually come and visit.

From today I will get a bit more time to put things online so I will start with a few backstage pics taken by Anthony Finocchiaro during a 'Heelys' shoot in Paris and I will definitely put some more stuff regularly during the next coming days.

Little girls - Noth India

This treatment which consists in making the photographs look old is a hand made process and not a Photoshop effect. Once I've managed to get the desired effect with the printed version I actually re-shoot the photo to get it back into the computer.

Le traitement choisi pour obtenir ce rendu n'est pas une méthode Photoshop, c'est une usure faite a la main pour chaque photo jusqu'à l'obtention de l'effet désiré, la photo est ensuite reprise en photo pour garder l'effet le plus authentique possible.

ad for 'nomades shop' introducing Mathias Silhan

I combined photo shoot and video shoot for nomades shop last week end with a famous french street skater named Mathias Silhan who came right from Strasbourg to Paris to get this done, this professional skater was really easy to shoot as he just always succeed on what he tries... The photos will be out soon.
